about  Lublin Chamber of Crafts

1. Lublin Chamber of Crafts was existed since the 30th day of August 2001. On this day it was registered by the Economic Court in Lublin in the National Court Register, number KRS 0000039612. Lublin Chamber of Crafts is the member of the Polish Chamber of Commerce in Warsaw.

2. Lublin Chamber of Crafts is an organization of local authority for economic craft, which unites guilds and craftsmen not-belonging to guilds. Its purpose is to support development of economic craft, represent associated organization and craftsmen for state organizations, and other organizations and institutions, educate and advise its members, and carry out qualification examinations and issue craftsmanship certificates and expert’s diplomas, with seal with National Emblem.

3. In 9 guilds which are united in the Chamber and directly in Lublin Chamber of Crafts, there are over 460 craftsmen pursuing business activity in 38 different branches.

4. The Chamber appointed independent and subordinate Centre of Training, Consulting and Promotion entered in the register of schools and non-state institutions of Lublin Town as record number 221/P/N, which organizes and carries out trainings preparing to the craft’s and expert’s examinations in the scope of Health and Safety Procedures, foreign languages, pedagogic qualifications etc.

5. Lublin Chamber of Crafts in the period 2002 - 2006 realized the project within the framework of Leonardo da Vinci’s programme. Together with the French partner -Chambre de Matiers de la Somme they realized the monthly training for cooks and confectioners in Amiens (Piccardia).

Further to our contacts with the Spanish craft - Confederacion Empresarial Valenciana - we organized the trip of students, cooks and confectioners for the monthly apprenticeship to Valencia (Spain).

We also established the connections with the Italian craft CONFESERCENTI from Reggio di Calabria. 10 confectioners and 10 cooks went for the monthly apprenticeship to Italy.

Together with the German partner from Leipzig we carried out the project involving 20 young people learning profession of dental technician during the monthly apprenticeship in Germany.

We are planning apprenticeships for students learning craft in Finland, Portugal, Turkey and on Malta.

6. Lublin Chamber of Crafts is the main sponsor of the Foundation of Craft and Small Enterprise of Lublin.

7. The Chamber signed a cooperation agreement with the Education Superintendant’s Office, the Vocational Training Institution, the Voluntary Work Troops, the three greatest Vocational School Centers, the General Knowledge Companionship and the Association of education in “EKOEDBUD” architecture.

Lublin Chamber of Crafts has conducted or still conducts (2005-2007) the following projects financed from the European Union Funds:

¹ “ The European Centre of Public Tenders in Lublin” within the framework of the

European Fund of Regional Development - Action 1.1.2.SPO-WKP

¹ “With The New Knowledge Towards Home” within the framework of the Action 1.5 of the Sectorial Operation Programme - The Development of Human Resources. The project was realized with cooperation of the Lublin Development Foundation and the Lublin Craft Chamber.

¹ “Together we can do more” within the framework of Action 1.5. of the Sectorial Operation Programme - The Development of Human Resources. The project was realized with cooperation of the Emaus Association and the Lublin Craft Chamber.

¹ “The Innovative Network of Craft Cooperation in Lubelskie Voivodeship” within the framework of Action 2.6 of the Integrated Operation Programme of Regional Development aimed at giving information to entrepreneurs about groups. Six groups were created within the framework, including” Lublin Wood -regional group in Lublin” as a pilotage group.

¹ “The Complex Training Programme “Progress” - new chance for employees” within the framework of Activity 2.4 of Integrated Operation Programme of Regional Development. The project supports people endangered by restructurization processes. The project is realized with cooperation of Lublin Chamber of Crafts and “The Union of family solidarity” Foundation.

¹ Lublin Chamber of Crafts is a member of the network “KIGNET” - the housing system of Polish enterprise support “. The activity of this network involves institutions of enterprise support- mainly economic chambers. New and of better quality services for small and average enterprises are being organized within the framework of the project.

¹ “New qualifications, work, enterprise for unemployed women” - the project realized with cooperation of The Polish Chamber of Commerce which aims at professional increase in activity of unemployed women who are in worse situation or planning to change work.
